Did The Rebbe Say God Needs You?

Did the Chabad Lubavitcher Rebbe ever say God needs you? Rabbi Yaron Reuven says, today many people that call themselves Rabbis tell people all kinds of things in the name of the Torah, and if they won't provide a source, there's a good chance it's heresy and not Torah.
